Thursday Morning
Good Morning OFF,
Another busy day for me. I'm taking the Munchkins to a park with a lake. They'll play in the sand, and get wet. There's also a playground. I'm behind in putting laundry away. Oh well. It'll be there when I get home.

No Beach or Parks for us today. My Bentley fell and either broke his little hip or dislocated it. He is at Petsmart at the vet. Im waiting for the Dr to call me. They gave him some pain meds. I cant keep him comfortable at home.
So I am very sad today. If he broke it Im afraid I will have to putt him down. I dont have 5,000.00 to cover a surgery.

Trish....what a fun and wonderful day you have planned. The kids will have so much fun!!! I am sure you will too!! The heck with the laundry that can keep. I would much rather spend time with my grandchildren anytime!!
I am still praying for your friend and you. I hope she is managing okay. Such a heartbreaking time for her.
As for me...the last three days have about killed me. Way too much going on in each day. I was so tired last night that I fell in bed and don't remember a thing until morning.
The maintenance person just got here. I am finally, after almost 9 month's getting my drapery rods put up. I just kept forgetting to buy some. I know somewhere in storage I have some rods from my last apartment. Too much work looking for them.
I will be going down to lunch soon. Then I have someone coming here at 1:00 to bring me my Lifeline fob. My daughters will be happy I have one!!
I plan on spending the rest of the day doing absolutely NOTHING!!! I need to get my energy reserve again. Reading my Nook and drinking Crystal Light Peach Tea!!!

Afternoon OFF family...Just a quick stop in at lunch...trying to get some of the tenants to do their RECERTS...hahaha seems they all want to wait til the last minute!!! Fine...they wait too long not my fault...I am not the babysitter any longer!!! Then they stop in out of the blue when I AM busy and want to do it...I tell them...MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!! Then they get their nose out of joint!!! Oh well!!!! Not y problem!!! Says right on the notice MAKE AN APPOINTMENT...call Judy...
Well Bandit needs to go potty walking so need to take him out...then back to work!

Hello Judy.....let them not get their recerts done on time. I hope you stick with it and make them set up appointments. If they miss the dead line because you can't fit it in your calendar too bad. They have had lots of time to get them done. After a few get eviction notices maybe things will change around there. Stick to your guns girl!!!!
I am worried about Carla...any news on Bentley?? I hope he is okay!!
I am glad Maryann's husband is home taking care of her after her surgery. She seems to be in good spirits.

Connie they don't get their recerts done in time their rent goes to FULL rent!!!! NOT my problem!!!!!!! I did get one to make an appointment for Monday. I have 5 others yet to get started.
Yes Maryann has a wonderful husband!!! And I am going to have to turn into the mean nurse with her if she doesn't stay off the PC and rest like she was told!!!! LOL
Carla posted Bentley has a broken paw...poor baby!!! I think she said 6 weeks he should be ok?

Trish, I agree with Connie. Laundry schmaundry! It's never ending anyway. Hope you and the Munchkins have a ball today.
Connie, yes, you need to rest. Your poor little body can only handle so much at a time. You need to give her a rest in between bouts of activity.
We are making some progress around here. Butch took his pain meds at midnight last night and then slept until 10:30 a.m.!!! Whoo hoo! To me, that is big progress. He is still terribly weak and doesn't have much appetite, but the pain has obviously receded some. I haven't heard him moan (quietly) either or seen him jerk like an electric shock just went through him.
Today we must go into town and have his lab work done. MDA called our local lab and ordered it. Also we're going to stop at the medical supply place and buy him a cane. He doesn't like the walker and just won't use it. Stubborn man. So, we'll go buy him a cane. I don't care what he uses just as long as it helps him remain steady on his feet and not fall down.
My whole left arm is hurting today, not just my left wrist. I'm going to do my best not to use it at all today, so I'd better quit typing. NO crochet today either!
